How do I update my Xumo TV?

Your TV  will update automatically as long as it’s connected to the Internet. If your TV is offline, connect your TV to the Internet.

If you recently purchased your TV and are having trouble with setup, follow the steps on how to setup your TV online.

If your TV is having issues updating the firmware after you went through your first time setup or iyou do not want to connect your TV to the Internetyou can update your TV manually by following the steps below:

  1. Get a USB flash drive with enough storage space. Refer to the file size listed for your TV’s software version on the pagewww.xumo.com/usb-update
  2. Insert your USB into a computer with a USB port
  3. On your computer, go to www.xumo.com/usb-update
  4. Agree to the user agreement and download the update onto your computer
  5. Copy the update onto your USB, making sure that the USB doesn’t have any other Xumo TV updates saved on it.
Note: There could be multiple files in the software update. Be sure to include all files onto the USB.
  6. Insert the USB into your TV’s Service input port, making sure it’s the only USB connected to the TV
  7. Turn on your TV and go to Settings > Device settings > Updates > Update manually > Start USB update
  8. You’ll get a notification on your TV once the update is completed, at which time your TV will restart and you can remove the USB
