How do I connect my Xumo TV to the internet?

When you set up your TV, you'll be prompted to connect it to the Internet. If you choose to do so, step-by-step instructions will appear on your TV screen.

How do I connect my TV to Wi-Fi after setting it up?

1. Go to Settings > Network > Connect to a Wi-Fi network

2. Select your Wi-Fi network name from the list of available networks. If you don't see your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) or if it is a hidden network, hit BACK, choose Connect to a private network, and enter your network name

3. Enter your Wi-Fi password

Your Wi-Fi network name and password will be the same one you use to connect your other devices, such as a phone or computer.

If your router supports WPS, you can Connect using WPS in Settings > Network.

Note: Xumo TV cannot connect to networks that require a separate login through a web browser (for example, certain Wi-Fi networks in libraries or hotels).

How do I connect an Ethernet cord?

1. Plug one end of your Ethernet cord into your TV's LAN port

2. Plug the other end of your Ethernet cord into your modem or router's LAN port

3. Go to Settings > Network > Connect using Ethernet on your TV

Note: Ethernet is not available on all TVs. Check your manufacturer's documentation to confirm that your TV has a LAN port.

Something is not working. How can I fix it?

If you're trying to connect to a Wi-Fi network, make sure you have selected the correct network name (SSID) and entered the right password. (Remember, passwords are case-sensitive.)

If you're trying to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot, make sure your hotspot has a strong signal and that it can connect to other devices, such as a computer. If your TV is connected but the speed seems slow, try restarting your mobile hotspot by turning it off and back on. If the speed does not improve or the TV can't connect, try connecting the TV to another network through a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection.

If you're trying to connect using an Ethernet cord, ensure everything is plugged in securely.

Lastly, confirm that your modem or router is connected to the Internet. Go to Settings > Network and check whether the TV is online or offline. If the TV is offline, try accessing the Internet on a mobile phone, computer, or other device on the same network.

The TV will re-connect automatically once the Internet is available. When the TV wakes up after being off for a while, this can take upwards of 15-20 seconds.

If the connection speed seems slow, try restarting your modem or router. You can also improve the signal strength by moving your modem or router closer to the TV.
