Do I need a Xumo account to use my Xumo Stream Box?

Yes. You must register your Xumo Stream Box with a Xumo account to use your device. All you need to provide is an email and password.

 

Note: For Xfinity customers, a Xumo account is not required to use your Xumo Stream Box. You will use your Xfinity username and password.

 

When you create an account, you have the option to add a payment method to purchase movies, shows, and subscriptions through your stream box device. You can also use your Xumo account to manage your preferences, subscriptions, and paired devices. Your Xumo account is also where you can view your purchase history.

 

How do I create my Xumo account?

You’ll be prompted to create a Xumo account when you set up your stream box. All you need is an email and password. You’ll also have the option to add a credit or debit card as your payment method to make purchases on your stream box.

 

Can I use the same Xumo account for multiple Xumo Stream Box’s?

Yes! You can link multiple Xumo devices to the same account. Just sign in with your Xumo account when you set up your device.

 

Can I use the same Xumo account as my Xumo TV?

Yes! A Xumo account is for all your Xumo devices, including Xumo TV and Xumo Stream Box. Just sign in with your Xumo account when you set up your device.

 

I don’t see a pairing code on my Xumo Stream Box

To connect your Xumo Stream Box to your Xumo Account you will need to enter the 6-digit onscreen code in xumo.com/activate. If you reach the “Link your Account” screen and do not see a 6-digit code appear, try the following troubleshooting steps.

 

1. Wait 30 seconds

 

If you’re still not seeing a code, try:

 

1. Selecting “Skip & Set up later”

2. Confirm that you want to skip

3. Select the Xumo tile

4. Repeat, if needed

 

If you’re still not seeing a code appear after these steps, try unplugging the device and plugging it back in and repeating the activation process.
