How do I connect my Xumo Stream Box to the internet?

During the Xumo Stream Box activation process, you’ll be prompted to connect your Stream Box to the internet. Follow the step-by-step instructions on your screen.

Note: You can also use an Ethernet cable (not included) to set up a wired connection instead.

Something’s not working. How can I fix it?

If you’re trying to connect to a WiFi network, make sure you’ve selected the correct network name and entered the right password. Remember, passwords are case sensitive.

If you’re trying to connect to a WiFi network that is a hotspot, make sure your hotspot has a good connection and can be connected by other devices like computers.  If it is connected and the speed seems slow, try restarting your mobile hotspot.  If the speed doesn’t improve or the stream box isn’t able to connect, connect the stream box to another network either through a WiFi or Ethernet connection.

If you’re trying to connect using an Ethernet cord, make sure everything is plugged in securely.

Lastly, confirm that your modem or router is connected to the internet. An easy way to check is to see if you can access the internet on a phone, computer, or other device, then you have an internet connection. If the connection speed seems slow, try restarting your modem or router. You can also  improve the signal strength by moving your modem or router closer to the device, if possible.
