If you have a TV antenna, you can connect it to your Xumo TV to watch live broadcast channels.

Note: Xumo TV does not support QAM (cable input); you must use an antenna.

When you first set up your TV, you’ll be prompted to connect an antenna if you have one. If you choose this option, you’ll see step-by-step instructions on your TV screen.

To connect an antenna after you have set up your TV:

1. Plug your antenna into your TV’s Antenna port, and follow the manufacturer’s instructions about where to place your antenna for the best signal

2. Turn on your TV (if it is off)

3. Navigate to Settings > Antenna and inputs > Antenna and choose Scan for channels

4. Follow the on-screen instructions, then select Scan for channels

5. Wait while your TV scans for channels – this can take several minutes. When the channel scan finishes, you will see the number of channels found

6. Select Continue

How do I watch the channels I get with my antenna? 

There are four options:

Input button on your remote

1. Press INPUT on your remote

2. Navigate to the Antenna tile

3. Press SELECT to bring up the grid guide

Number button(s) on your remote

If your remote has number buttons and you know the number of the TV station you wish to watch:

1. Press a number button on the remote

2. Keep pressing number buttons until you have the full channel number entered, or use DPAD to select from the list

3. Press SELECT to tune to the channel

Voice commands

1. Press the “Microphone” button on your remote

2. Say “Antenna” or “Grid guide” to navigate to the grid guide OR

3. Say the name of a TV station (ex: “NBC Ten” or “CBS Three”) to be taken directly to that channel

Panel power button

1. Press the power button on your TV panel

2. Press it again to scroll through the input list until antenna is highlighted

3. Wait 3 seconds
